Du soviétisme et de sa recomposition…
La guerre froide puis la décomposition de l’Empire russe contiennent les germes de la situation actuelle.
Dans une synthèse aussi utile qu’agréable, l’historienne Justine Faure rappelle que l’année 1949 marque symboliquement le début réel de la guerre froide. En effet, les deux blocs sont définitivement constitués et deviennent des forces qui se menacent mutuellement. Au cours de l’année, les Soviétiques réussissent à acquérir la bombe atomique. Peu après, Mao et l’Armée populaire de Libération prennent le pouvoir à Pékin. Symboliquement, elle souligne les répercussions sur les opinions quand par exemple entre janvier et mars se déroule le procès Victor Kravchenko contre Les Lettres françaises, les communistes avaient calomnié, le réfugié ukrainien, qui en retour les a attaqués en diffamation. Ce procès devenant le symbole de la négation par les communistes de l’existence des camps de concentration. L’Empire soviétique semble alors à son apogée.
Dans une histoire classique écrite de manière particulièrement alerte, le journaliste Bernard Lecomte revient sur les principaux événements qui ont conduit au démantèlement de l’URSS et à la renaissance de l’empire russe. Ancien journaliste ayant vécu de nombreuses années dans le bloc de l’Est, il y mêle également des souvenirs personnels, des comptes rendus de rencontre avec les dissidents, les dirigeants qui font du livre à la fois un témoignage et une enquête utile et synthétique. Il rappelle les premières fissures du bloc soviétique depuis le rapport Khrouchtchev en passant par le Printemps de Prague jusqu’aux crises des années 1980 : Le soulèvement polonais, l’intervention soviétique en Afghanistan, la perestroïka, la chute du mur de Berlin et montre comment l’ancien KGB, par l’emprise de Vladimir Poutine, a commencé à placer ses pions dans le nouvel appareil d’État russe pour à partir de 1996 occuper tous les postes de pouvoir.
Enfin, Juliette Faure montre dans une remarquable étude le poids du soviétisme dans la mise en place de la nouvelle idéologie du Kremlin. Elle montre la continuité des idéologues partisans d’un Empire centré autour de la Russie. Cette doctrine s’est élaborée dans les milieux militaires à partir des années 1960. Ces derniers ont ensuite rompu avec le marxisme pour ne conserver que la dimension impériale. Depuis cette période ils irriguent dans tous les milieux (intellectuels, journalistiques, littéraires et bien sûr politiques et militaires) construisant un réseau idéologique qui leur permet progressivement de prendre le contrôle de l’appareil d’État et surtout de former une nouvelle génération de cadres leur permettant d’assurer leur perpétuation. Ces derniers sont les conseillers directs de Vladimir Poutine.
